Personal travel insurance is a must when travelling to Nepal. In most cases you cannot go trekking without it or partake in other activities such as rafting and paragliding. Please, when you take out your insurance policy, make sure it covers trekking in mountain regions, evacuation and any other activities you may want to undertake in Nepal.
