The trail to this peak begins from Lukla and takes you to the bustling Namche Bazaar before heading into the high Valleys of the Khumbu. Pokhalde peak is a complex mountain which tapers off from the south west ridge of Nuptse South and Kongma Tse, with the Kongma la dividing the two. The pass is very interesting as it is used as a yak herder’s route between grazing pastures. The base camp is situated at a lake just below Kongma La. The climb is steep but straight forward with good views of the valley. To reach the summit you have to scramble for a bit over the rocky surface but its well worth your efforts.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla, and then start trek to Phakding
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar
Day 05: Rest at Namche Bazaar
Day 06: Trek to Tyangboche
Day 07: Trek to Dingboche
Day 08: Trek to Chhukung
Day 09: Trek to Pokhalde base camp
Day 10: Summit Pokhalde peak and back to Chhukung
Day 11: Trek to Pangboche
Day 12: Trek to Khumjung village
Day 13: Trek to Phakding
Day 14: Trek to Lukla
Day 15: Fly back to Kathmandu
Day 16: Rest at Kathmandu
Day 17: Departure on your own destination
