Nepal Timeshare

I Think I'm Going to Katmandu

It's more than just a Bob Seger hit song - Nepal is a state of mind. When you utter the name of this country located in the heavenly Himalayan mountain range, visions of peace, tranquility and monks chanting prayers come to mind.

Not too long ago this country, once known as Shangri-la, was forbidden. Outsiders were not welcomed and the people of this region were steeped in mystery. But today you can ensure that you'll come here every year to your own private retreat where you can study the centuries-old pursuit of meditation from a master. Buy Nepal timeshare and get yourself a piece of Shangri-la.

Unlike other destinations, you won't be tripping over other tourists as you stroll through the market. It's a peaceful getaway. There aren't many resorts here either. For that reason, those who do own aren't likely to be selling timeshare. When you do find one, be prepared to consider quickly whether you want to purchase.

If you're more of a spiritual seeker, wanting to experience a worldwide journey, consider purchasing a membership in an exchange program, like RCI where you can trade your suite for others in locations around the world.

Here's another tip, before you begin your negotiations for your suite - be sure you consult a timeshare calendar. That way you'll know the most expensive seasons to buy in. Perhaps you can travel just outside those time periods and save thousands off your accommodations.

Do I Have to Buy Crampons and Carabineers?

You don't have to be a wildly enthusiastic climber to come to Nepal. Nor do you have to be particularly spiritual. The truth is there are a lot of itineraries that are available for just about every level of activity desired.

  • Want to experience the thrills of Mr. Everest but not the danger? Try hiking to base camp. While still a challenging hike, and you are still subject to altitude sickness, it doesn't carry with it the multitude of risks an assault on the summit would.
  • Enjoy a night with friends in the lounge or casino of a 5-star hotel in Katmandu. You'd be surprised at how the time flies.
  • Invent your own "trek" by exploring nature preserves and parks located throughout Nepal. Be sure to bring your camera for your own photo safari.
  • Shopping! There are numerous markets selling everything you could imagine- pick up a few handcrafted souvenirs for loved ones or to compliment your own décor.

The more you visit Nepal the mists shrouding the country in mystery clear away to reveal an intriguing, beguiling, and truly magical place where you can own your own Shangri-la. Bob Seger got it right:

"That's why I'm going to Katmandu, up to the mountains where I'm going to."
