This tour is for the intermediate level cyclist, taking you into the small villages around the valley, Shivapuri National Park and the mountain resort of Nagarkot from where you get fantastic panoramic views. This is a great ride for those people who have limited or short time. It can be done over two or three days as you like. It’s a beautiful ride with lots of good action down hill and some challenging climbs; it’s a great ride for the recreational to intermediate level rider.

Suggested Itinerary
| Day 1: | Arrive at the airport and be collected by our representative. Stay overnight in Hotel. |
| Day 2: | Kathmandu to Mulkharka, 22km (1660m) Today you leave Kathmandu via Budhanilkantha and enter the shivarpuri national park. Its up hill and a bit steep for the last 3km.you have Good views of the valley and once over the ring road its traffic free off road biking. You can visit a historic Gompa / Monastery. Over night in Mulkharka. |
| Day 3: | Mulkharka to Chisopani 21km(2195m) Today you follow a jeep track up and down into the heart of the national park. From Chisopani you can have good mountain views. Over night in Chisopani. |
| Day 4: | Chisopani to Nagarkot 25 km (2000m) Today is again traffic free riding as you leave Chisopani via the track and head up to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a scenic hill top village and is famous for having the best mountain views in the valley. |
| Day 5: | Nagarkot to Kathmandu 32km After splendid sunrise viewing of the Himalaya, mount your bike for the stunning down hill ride to Sanchu, this lovely village nestled in the valley, re join the quite road and continue on your way to Boulda where you will have lunch and visit the stupa. From here it’s a 20min ride through the traffic back to Thamel, or you can be collected by the bus and driven if you do not want to ride. |
