For the mountaineering with little time and limited experience, this peak is considered as ideal. To climb this peak you don’t need experience with high altitudes and the trek to the base camp allows for good acclimatization. The peak is situated east of the Modi Khola and is opposite to Hiunchuli. It rises above the entrance to Annapurna sanctuary and the climb gives you impressive views of the entire range. The base camp is at 4,100m. The climb is relatively easy or though the route can be hard to find at times. The summit route follows the steep snow covered ridge. This is an ideal introduction peak for mountaineering.
