This peak, like many others is in the Everest region and it stands above the Khumbu Glacier. It is part of the south west ridge of Nuptse. A climb here gives splendid views of Nuptse and Pumori peaks. The route to the mountain follows the trail to Everest base camp before veering off into the Imja Valley. The climb goes up the southeast ridge and requires you to climb a glacier and scramble up broken rocks to gain the south ridge below the summit.
