Travellers must possess a visa from Bhutan which is granted initially for 14 days. The actual visa is stamped on arrival in Bhutan. Visitors need to obtain visa clearance from the Tourism Authority of Bhutan (TAB) in advance. Visas can be extended in Thimpu for up to six months. Adventure Travelers Club will make your arrangements and handle the official formalities. A visa must be obtained through a company on a groups tour basis, the visa needs to be finalized seven weeks before your tour.
