This compact tour of Bhutan is a breathtaking trip around this Himalayan kingdom. It covers in depth all the highlights of this land of the thunder dragon and allows you time to explore the many sight in great depth. One of the major highlights of this tour is a visit to the stunning Taktsang Monastery, better known as the tigers nest. This tour takes in all the best sights and culture of Bhutan, it visits some stunning valleys and small villages allowing you to get up close and personal with the friendly and welcoming Bhutanese people and the stunning natural beauty of this country. Along the way you visit glaciers and get awesome views of the eastern Himalayan range. It’s a breath taking discovery tour of this rich and vibrant land.

Day 01: Kathmandu to Paro (By Druk Air flight):
Depart Kathmandu and fly to Paro where you will be met by your guide and transferred to the hotel. You will have a days sightseeing around Paro, sights visited Ta Dzong, Paro Rimpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang and Drukgyal Dzong.

Day 02: Paro to Thimphu
After breakfast you visit the Taktsang Monastery a highlight of the trip. The visit requires a short walk. After lunch you drive to Thimphu where you will check in at the hotel and do an afternoon of sightseeing-sights visited include- The National Memorial Chorten, Dupthop Lhakhang, Changkha Monastery and the mini zoo. Finish the day off with viewing at the Sangay Gang View Point (2685m)
Overnight in Hotel in Thimphu.

Day 03. Thimphu
After breakfast, visit the National Library, Painting School, Traditional Medicine Institute and Handicraft Emporium for shopping various Bhutanese Arts and Textiles.
After lunch we will hike to Tango Monastery a one hour 280m climb. In the evening, visit to the Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion).
Overnight in Hotel in Thimphu.

Day 04. Thimphu – Punakha:
After early breakfast, drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass, where you can see 108 Bhutanese Stupas. If the weather is clear you can see the snow capped Himalayas. Further drive to Punakha and visit Punakha Dzong. We have to walk across a long suspension bridge to reach the Dzong.
In the evening short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility.

Day 05. Punakha – Wangduephodrang– Trongsa:
 After early breakfast, drive to Trongsa. Enroute sightseeing in the valley of Wangdiphodrang includes: visit to Wangdiphodrang Dzong built in 1638. Drive further and cross over Pelela Pass at 3250 meters. Lunch will be at Chendebji Restaurant. Visit the Chendebji Monastery
Overnight in Hotel in Trongsa.

Day 06. Trongsa:
After breakfast, visit Trongsa Dzong, the most impressive dzong in Bhutan, Ta Dzong (Previous watch Tower to the Dzong) and have a good view of whole Trongsa valley including Dzong. If you are interested make a short hike to the village in the afternoon. In The evening leisure time to go around Trongsa town.

Day 07. Trongsa – Bumthang:
After breakfast, drive to Bumthang via Yongtala Pass and Kilakha Pass. Bumthang sightseeing includes: Bhutanese Carpet Factory, Chamkhar Valley, Jakar Dzong, which literally means “The Castle of White Bird” and Jambay Lhakhang. In the evening, visit Bumthangs Different Handicraft shops and around the small town of Bumthang.

Day 08. Bumthang:
After breakfast, visit Chakhar (Iron Castle) Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang and Tamshing Lhakhang (Temple of the good message), established in 1501 by Pema Lingpa and is the most important Nyingmapa temple in the kingdom. In the evening, visit Membarstho which literally means, “The burning Lake”.

Day 09. Bumthang – Ura Valley - Bumthang:
One day excursion to Ura Valley. It is one of the most beautiful valleys. You will pass through many beautiful Bhutanese Farm houses and valleys. We stop in many different view points for wonderful photography. Packed lunch will be served as a dry picnic. In the evening drive back to Bumthang.

Day 10. Bumthang – Trongsa – Thimphu: 
Early breakfast, drive to Thimphu and we can stop in various places to take photographs. Lunch at Chanbebji and after lunch, drive to Thimphu via Wangduephodrang. In the evening you have leisure time in Thimphu Town.
Overnight in Hotel at Thimphu.

Day11. Thimphu – Paro:
Early breakfast, drive to Paro Airport and farewell for your connecting flight to Kathmandu.
